I have been in veterinary practice for 35 years and founded Fox Hollow in November 1996. Growing up in Ireland, I read and lived the adventures of legendary veterinarian/author James Herriot. Like Herriot, I have cared for all creatures from cats to cows. My special style of veterinary care is shown through compassion and ability to diagnose with symptoms alone. Once a diagnosis is made, the pet's owner is offered the best option of treatment to suit their individual needs and financial situation. I hold a bachelor's degree from Dublin's Trinity College, and am a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. I currently live in Littleton with my wife, our two cats and our Golden Retriever, Barrington.
I am the second oldest of Dr. Tony's four boys and I grew up in Littleton, Colorado. My love of animals, biology, and interacting with wonderful pet owners ultimately lead me to my dream career - Veterinary medicine. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology and Master's degree in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University and graduated from the University of Illinois Veterinary School. My veterinary interests include: surgery, behavior, and neurology, and I am also a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).
I am the third son of Dr. Tony's four boys and also grew up in Littleton, Colorado. I received my degree in Veterinary Surgery from Edinburgh, Scotland and enjoy traveling and getting to know people from near and far! My adventures have included working with baby lambs in Wales, surgery fellowships in Greece, and dairy farming in the highlands of Scotland.I am currently living in Littleton with my lovely wife, Becca and our dog Charlie. When I'm not immersing myself in the latest international veterinary advances in Surgery and Oncology I enjoy playing and performing music!
I have been working at Fox Hollow Animal Hospital since 2006. I'm a 'military brat' and have lived in many places around the world and graduated from Virginia Technical Veterinarian School in 1988. I currently live in Littleton with my wife Susan and our four kids and our black Lab, Cooper.
As a young kid spending summer in the heat of the southeast, one of my first memories was the neighborhood dogs leaving their yards to offer me their company when I decided to go wait for my mom at the front of the neighborhood because my brother refused to include me in a game. It seemed instinctive that I should pursue my dream to give back and help animals in their time of need. From Georgia Southern to SGU in Grenada, I finally culminated my veterinary schooling at UF. My girlfriend, dog (Jam), cat (Ron), and I moved to Denver in the summer of 2016. I am exceedingly excited to have found a great hospital at Fox Hollow to further my career and strive to be an asset to what is already a terrific team of veterinary caretakers!
